text: Simnas Lake is a lake in Alytus County, Lithuania. It lies in the north of Simnas town. The lake is about 2.4 square kilometres (0.93 sq mi) in area, 2.8 kilometres (1.7 mi) length and 1.3 kilometres (0.81 mi) width. It is the 4th largest lake in Alytus county and 13th largest in South Lithuania. Depth average 2.3 metres with deepest place of 4.6 metres (15 ft). Lake was formed by melting glaciers.
