Simichaur is a town in Resunga Municipality in Gulmi District in the Lumbini Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4811 persons living in 942 individual households. Almost 99% of the people are Hindus. There used to be nine wards in this VDC before it was incorporated in Resunga Municipality. In 2017, Simichaur consists of 2 words of the new municipality.
