text: Siechnice is a town in Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It gained town status in 1997, and as of 2019 has a population of 8,113. Siechnice is part of the Wrocław metropolitan area. Siechnice lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-east of the regional capital Wrocław, and since January 1, 2010 has been the seat of the gmina of Gmina Siechnice.
