Shepherd Malusi Mayatula, sometimes misspelled Shepherd Mayathula, is a retired South African politician and economist from the Eastern Cape. He represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 1999 to 2009 and later from 2011 to 2014. During that time, he chaired the Portfolio Committee on Education from 2004 to 2009.
