Sham Valley is a Himalayan valley located in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh. Likir located near the valley. The village is famous for its Buddhist Monastery. The valley is known amongst trekkers coming to Leh. It's starts from Spituk and goes till Lamayouro. The valley is 32 km long and it takes 4-5 days to complete the trek. The maximum elevation is 3874 metres. It is located 180 to 200 kilometres from the territory's capital Leh and Kargil is around 170 kilometres. Srinagar-Leh National
