Scott Robert Mersereau is an American former professional football defensive lineman for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He attended college at Southern Connecticut State University. He played for the New York Jets for seven seasons, beginning in 1987. He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fifth round of the 1987 NFL draft.
