id: saxon-ii-k-257-8655016
title: Saxon II K
text: The Saxon II K were a class of two 0-4-4-0T Fairlie locomotives built for the Royal Saxon State Railways with a gauge of 750 mm (2 ft 5+1⁄2 in). They were retired from service by 1909; in 1913 the classification was reused for pairs of I K locomotives coupled back-to-back. Consequently, there is a distinction between the class II K (old) and II K (new).
