The Saint Ephraim Monastery is a women's monastery on Mount Amomon, Attica. It is located in the area of Xilokeriza east of Mount Pentelicus. The old monastery that was destroyed and was in the same location was a male monastery and had been in operation since the 10th century. In that century many hermitages are counted on that "mountain of the pure".
