The sailfin dottyback, also known as the longtail dottyback, is a species of ray-finned fish from the family Pseudochromidae, the dottybacks from the Western Central Pacific where it is found on the Great Barrier Reef and other coral reefs in the Coral Sea, where it is occurs inshore near rock and coral formations where there are sandy bottoms. This fish occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade. It grows to a size of 12 centimetres (4.7 in) in length. It is pale greyish to yellowish in
