The Saginae, commonly known as the predatory katydids or predatory bush-crickets, is a subfamily of the family Tettigoniidae. They are mostly found in Europe, west and central Asia and southern Africa. The Saginae are specialist carnivores, which is unusual among the Orthoptera.
