Sadjoavato is a town and commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Antsiranana II in the Diana Region. It is situated between Antsiranana and Ambilombe on the National Road No.6 at a distance of approx. 51 km from Antsiranana Its name means "Stonejug" and is derived from a legend of the presence of an invisible jug made from natural stone that is only visible if one makes it to throw a coin or a stone inside.
