Séamus Coen is an Irish retired hurler who played as a left wing-back for the Galway senior team. Born in Mullagh, County Galway, Coen first played competitive hurling in his youth. After first joining the Galway under-21 team, he made his senior debut during the 1979 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. Coen went on to win one All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship medal and one National Hurling League medal with Galway. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. As a member of the C
