The Ronchamp thermal power station is a coal-fired power plant near the Chanois coal mine in the town of Ronchamp, Haute-Saône, in the French region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. From the outset, in 1906-1907, until its nationalization in 1946, the station was operated by the Ronchamp coal mines. It then became the property of Électricité de France and remained so until its closure in 1958. The plant underwent two expansions between 1910 and 1924, increasing its capacity to 30 MW.
