Rita Chatterton is a retired professional wrestling referee. Appearing as Rita Marie, she became the first female referee in the World Wrestling Federation in 1984. Chatterton accused WWF promoter Vince McMahon of raping her in 1986, her final year with the company. She is a charter member of the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Women's Wrestling Hall of Fame.
