It is a selective androgen receptor antagonist with reduced brain distribution compared to the structurally related nonsteroidal antiandrogen enzalutamide. The drug was developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine. Other structural analogues of rezvilutamide that are also used as antiandrogens
