text: Renwick Dam is a dam in Akra Township, Pembina County, North Dakota, USA, in the northeastern corner of the state. The earthen dam was completed in 1962 at a height of 49 feet (15 m) and a length of 1,400 feet (430 m) at its crest. It impounds the Tongue River for flood control and recreation. Both dam and reservoir are owned and operated by the Pembina County Water Resource District. The reservoir it creates, Lake Renwick, has a water surface of 204 acres (83 ha), a maximum capacity of 8400 acr
