Reinhard Dieter Grindel is a German journalist, politician (CDU) and football administrator. From 2002 to 2016 Grindel was member of the Bundestag. On 15 April 2016, he was elected president of the German Football Association (DFB) and resigned as member of parliament. On 2 April 2019, he resigned as president of the association.
