text: Reginald Seymour Brinton was an English industrialist and cricketer, who played 13 first-class matches for Worcestershire in the early twentieth century. Born at Moor Hall in Lower Mitton, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, Brinton was a member of the Kidderminster carpet-making family. In 1914, he became Chairman of Brintons on the death of his father John Brinton, who had run the firm since 1857. He retained this position until his death in 1942.
