Ras malai, also known as rasamalei, or roshomalai, is a dessert that invented by Krishna Chandra Das in Kolkata, British India at 20th century. The dessert is called roshomalai in Bengali, ras malai in Hindi, and rasa malei in Odia. It is popular in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
