text: Randvere is a village in Viimsi Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia. It is located about 11 km (7 mi) northeast of the centre of Tallinn, on the coast of Muuga Bay, northwest of the Port of Muuga. As of the 2011 census, the settlement's population was 1,690. Randvere was first mentioned in 1397. During the Middle Ages, Randvere was settled by Coastal Swedes and belonged under the Maardu Manor. Randvere Lutheran Church was built between 1848 and 1852.
