Qiaomei Fu is a Chinese Paleontologist and researcher. She is the director of the ancient DNA laboratory at the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology (IVPP) in Beijing. Her research focuses on the first modern humans who settled in Asia, where they may have arrived more than 100,000 years ago.
