text: The Qadiriyya or the Qadiri order is a Sufi mystic order (tariqa) founded by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gilani, who was a Hanbali scholar from Gilan, Iran. The order relies strongly upon adherence to the fundamentals of Sunni Islamic law.
