text: Pyncostola ochraula is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1918. It is found in South Africa, where it has been recorded from Gauteng. The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are grey, suffusedly irrorated (sprinkled) with white and sprinkled with dark grey. There is a fulvous-ochreous subcostal line from near the base to two-fifths, with a blackish dot beneath its extremity and a fulvous-ochreous line is found along the fold throughout, marked with two bla
