As of 2010, the city of Pueblo Nuevo Solistahuacán had a population of 10,043. Other than the city of Pueblo Nuevo Solistahuacán, the municipality had 104 localities, the largest of which were: Rincón Chamula (5,592), classified as urban, and San José Chapay
