text: Psittacastis pictrix is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1921. It is found in Colombia. The wingspan is 13–15 mm. The forewings are ferruginous with a very oblique wedge-shaped yellow-whitish patch from near the base of the costa to the fold, sometimes suffused with ground colour beneath. A thick dark red-brown longitudinal streak is found from the base of the dorsum to one-third, surrounded with violet iridescence, followed by a subdorsal spot of leaden
