text: Pseudoxandra williamsii is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family. It is endemic to Peru. Robert Elias Fries, the Swedish botanist who first formally described the species using the basionym Cremastosperma williamsii, named it after Llewelyn W. Williams, the Welsh economic botanist, who collected the holotype specimen he examined.
