text: Prolita invariabilis is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by William D. Kearfott in 1908. It is found in the US states of Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon and New Mexico. The wingspan is 18–22 mm. The costal margin of the forewings is brown intermixed with buff from the base to two-thirds. There is a broad pale buff band from near the base to three-fourths, margined dorsally by off-white.
