text: Priestly's Hydraulic Ram, located in Gooding County, Idaho near Hagerman, Idaho, was a hydraulic ram invented and built c. 1890. It was used to move water uphill to irrigate agricultural land on the plateau above the Snake River. It was located about 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Hagerman at Thousand Springs. The area is now Thousand Springs State Park. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1975.
