The Pratihar, occasionally also spelled as Pratihara, is a clan of the Gurjar ethnic community. Those are predominantly residing in north Indian states, including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand.
