Pozzol Groppo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) east of Turin and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Alessandria. Pozzol Groppo borders the following municipalities: Cecima, Godiasco, Momperone, Montemarzino, and Volpedo. The actual comune was formed from the merging, in 1929, of the two previous Pozzolo del Gropp and Groppo.
