The Port of Barcelona is a major port in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Its 7.86 km (3 sq mi) are divided into three zones: Port Vell, the commercial/industrial port, and the logistics port. The port is managed by the Port Authority of Barcelona, itself owned by the state-owned Ports of the State. It is the third largest container port in the country and the ninth largest in Europe, with a trade volume of 3.42 million TEUs in 2018.
