The Polanco Palace is a luxurious mansion located in the El Almendral neighborhood of the Chilean city of Valparaíso. It was built in 1903 by order of the Chilean merchant Benignus Polanco Humeres for residential use, and since 1942 it has been used by the Valparaíso Carabiniers prefecture. It is the only remnant of the palaces built in the city during the 19th century on land reclaimed from the sea, during Valparaíso's economic and industrial boom.
