text: Plectophila sarculata is a moth in the family Xyloryctidae. It was described by Thomas Pennington Lucas in 1901. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland. The wingspan is 14–18 mm. The forewings are white with fuscous markings which are diffused with ochreous, and irrorated (sprinkled) with black scales.
