Philip J. Deering, Sr. was an American businessperson and politician from Maine. Deering, a Democrat, served in the Maine House of Representatives from one term (1910-1912). He also served four terms as chairman of the Portland, Maine City Council in 1924, 1927, 1934 and 1935.
