Philip Thomas Fudge was an educator, businessman, civil servant and politician in Newfoundland. He represented Hermitage in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly from 1928 to 1932 as a Liberal. The son of Philip Fudge and Mary Petite, he was born in Pass Island, Fortune Bay and was educated there, in St. John's and in Boston. Fudge taught school for several years and then, in 1918, opened a general store and fishery business at Pass Island. In 1932, Fudge left the Liberal party and joi
