Philip John Larder MBE, is an English rugby league and rugby union coach, and former player in both codes. He coached England and Great Britain national teams in rugby league, and in rugby union he was defence coach of England, and the British & Irish Lions. He coached World Cup finals with England against Australia in both codes – losing the 1995 rugby league final, before winning the 2003 final in rugby union. Previously a physical education teacher and national coaching director of the Rugby
