Peter Louis Pihos was an American professional football player who was an end for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). Pihos played college football as an end and fullback for the Indiana Hoosiers from 1942 to 1943 and 1945 to 1946. He was selected as a first-team All-American in 1942, 1943 and 1945. His college playing career was interrupted by service in the United States Army during World War II. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1966, the fir
