Perkinsville, Arizona, is a populated place in Yavapai County, in the U.S. state of Arizona. It is a hamlet about 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from the Perkinsville Bridge over the Verde River. The Verde Canyon Railroad, a passenger excursion line, runs between Clarkdale and Perkinsville on the tracks of the Clarkdale Arizona Central Railroad, a shortline. The excursion train engines disconnect at Perkinsville and move along a siding to reconnect at the opposite end of the train for the return trip to Cla
