Peremyshlsky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,156 square kilometers (446 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality of Peremyshl. Population: 14,422 (2021 Census); 14,137 (2010 Russian census); 13,952; 16,105 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Peremyshl accounts for 25.0% of the district's total population.
