text: Paulet St John-Mildmay was an English Whig Party politician. He sat in the House of Commons as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Winchester from 1818 to 1835, and from 1837 to 1841. He was the third son of the fifteen children of Sir Henry St John-Mildmay, 3rd Baronet of Dogmersfield Park, Hampshire and his wife Jane, daughter and coheir of Carew Mildmay of Shawford House, Hampshire. He was educated at Winchester School from 1803–05. In 1813, he married Anna Maria Wyndham, daughter of Hon. Barthol
