text: Paul Scheinpflug was a German conductor and composer. Born in Loschwitz, Scheinpflug studied at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden from 1890 to 1894, among others with Felix Draeseke. After a short stay in 1897/1898 as a private tutor in Kiev, he moved to Bremen in 1898, where he worked as concert master of the Philharmonic Orchestra and director of several choirs. From 1909 to 1914 he was conductor of the Musikverein in Königsberg and from 1914 to 1920 conductor of the Blüthn
