John Paul Connolly is a Canadian former educator and politician. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in the 1982 provincial election and represented the electoral district of 6th Queens from 1982 to 1996, followed by Charlottetown-Rochford Square from 1996 to 2000. He was a member of the Liberal Party. The son of Stephen Peter Connolly and Catherine McNally, Connolly was educated at Saint Dunstan's University and the University of Prince Edward Island.
