The parthenice tiger moth is a moth of the family Erebidae. It is found in south-eastern Canada, and the eastern United States. The moths are common in fields and woodland edges from June to late September. The moth is nocturnal and is attracted to light sources. The wingspan is about 7.5 cm (3 in).
