In mathematics, more specifically in algebraic geometry, Parshin's conjecture states that for any smooth projective variety X defined over a finite field, the higher algebraic K-groups vanish up to torsion: It is named after Aleksei Nikolaevich Parshin and Alexander Beilinson.
