The Parramatta Light Rail is a 12-kilometre (7 mi) standard gauge light rail line currently under construction in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The first stage of the line will run from Westmead to Carlingford via the Western Sydney centre of Parramatta. Construction commenced in 2019, with the first stage due to start passenger services in mid-2024. In July 2024, it was officially announced that services running on the first stage will be running as the L4 Westmead & Carlingford Line. A s
