Pallavi Padma-Uday, is a writer, journalist and business historian based in the UK. Her debut poetry collection Orisons in the Dark was published by Writers Workshop in April 2023. Noted Irish poet Csilla Toldy, writing about her poetry, wrote that Padma-Uday "transforms life experience into poetry comparably to the great American woman poet, Elizabeth Bishop, with the same unflinching view on life." In 2022, she was featured as one of the artists in 'Breaking Ground Ireland', a landmark project
