Palaquium philippense is a species of plant in the family Sapotaceae. It is endemic to the Philippines. It is threatened by habitat loss. According to Blanco's book (1845), Palaquium philippense, one of the tallest forest trees is also known as palacpalac, derived from the Kapampangan term used in reference to malakmalak.
