text: Paju is a village in Valga Parish, Valga County in southern Estonia. It's located about 6 km northeast of the town of Valga. Paju has a population of 80 and an area of 9.341 km². Paju Manor was established in 1748 by detaching it from the Lugaži Manor. From the 1850s to the dispossession in 1919 it belonged to the Stryks.
