Oxytropha ametalla is a moth in the family Depressariidae, and the only species in the genus Oxytropha. It was described by Alfred Jefferis Turner in 1898 and is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Victoria and New South Wales. The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are fuscous, irrorated with whitish, reddish-fuscous, and blackish scales and with an obscure outwardly curved transverse blackish line from the costa at one-third, not reaching the inner-margin.
