text: Osaki Launch Complex is a rocket launch site at the Tanegashima Space Center on Tanegashima. The site was originally built for the N-I rocket and was later used for N-II, H-I and J-I launches. The facility was originally built in the early 1970s to support launches of the N-I rocket and would later receive modifications to support the N-II and H-I. It was extensively renovated in the early 1990s to support the J-I rocket, however it was only ever launched once before the program was cancelled. T
